Kevin Max is known for his multiple octave range and signature vibrato. Max started out in the band dctalk in 1987 and went solo in 2001. His debut album 'Stereotype Be' garnered a cult following and significant critical praise. Working with producer and co-writer Adrian Belew ( of David Bowie and King Crimson fame ), Max's second album was a spoken word project titled 'Raven Songs 101.' From there Max created over 18 albums circumventing all genres, including pop, new-wave, alternative rock and dark jazz. Max started a alternative indie rock band called Sad Astronauts in 2021.
