Kate Meyher is a producer, DJ, and radio host making waves across the UK’s LGBTQ+ electronic music scene. One of the country’s most celebrated transgender DJs, she uses her platform to champion inclusion and visibility while delivering soulful, high-energy sets that move crowds. Cutting her teeth in the late ’90s as a resident for Gulp Nation, Kate toured the UK before stepping back to raise her family. Returning in 2020, she quickly reignited her career—hosting two weekly shows on Gaydio and performing at clubs and festivals alongside artists like Jodie Harsh, Angie Brown, Nadine Coyle, and Woody Cook. As a producer, Kate has released on Spotty Dog Records and Curious Energy Records, with support from BBC Introducing, Centreforce, and Select Radio. In 2025 she joins Happy Sounds Productions, debuting with a tech house remix of “Real Life” followed by a collaboration with Angie Brown & HOUZEWORKZ on "Stir It Up (VIP Club Mix)". Beyond the music, Kate is the founder of Chase Pride, curator of Mix City and R4GE, and a driving force for representation in dance music. Kate Meyher is more than a DJ—she’s a cultural force uniting music, advocacy, and empowerment.
