Mike Kissel

I started writing songs at a pretty young age. I never really got a lot of encouragement and my mom, God bless her, was a bit too financially insecure to buy me any musical equipment like an electric guitar and amp. Still, I played my old Ibanez acoustic for years. Now, I'm close to retirement and was fortunate enough to hook up with my old friend, Vance Abeyta, and together we wrote and recorded a collection of songs that I think turned out rather well. There're also a few videos of a period in time where I had stopped recording altogether and was just experimenting with some different ideas. I hope you enjoy and please let me know what you think!
