NINA EBA

NINA EBA - the solo project of Ukrainian singer, sound producer, and DJ Nina. Her music blends alternative R&B and art-pop with experimental electronic genres, often incorporating elements of bass music, hyperpop, and breakbeat. This distinctive sound developed through five years of DJ practice, during which she became fascinated with experimental, bass-driven, and non-conformist dance music. Nina began writing music as a teenager after attending music school in Ukraine and later became the frontwoman of several rock and art-rock bands during her university years in Kyiv. She also worked for five years as a music editor for Ukrainian television, curating and editing music for major shows. Since launching solo project NINA EBA, she has released multiple works, including her debut EP Ukraine Immortal (2022) in collaboration with New Zealand label The Big Fresh Collective, where her soft vocals intertwined with jungle and juke produced by Liam K. Swiggs and Bomb Dylan. In August 2024, she released her debut multigenre mini-album MORPHO, followed by an international remix compilation RE:MORPHIX featuring producers from Ukraine, New Zealand, the UK, Japan, and the US. Currently based in Graz, Austria, she continues to expand her practice through academic studies in sound design and experimental music technologies at KUG and FH Joanneum. [email protected]
