aaronk

American composer / pianist / and music producer Aaron k Peterson (aaronk) is no stranger to classical music. Having grown up in a musical family of musicians who were members of the Chicago Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra and the Utah Symphony, orchestral music flooded the airwaves. After formal studies in classical trumpet, aaronk turned to music production and recording as another outlet of expression and after many years discovered the magic of the felt piano through a chance concert that a friend had brought him along on; Joep Beving graced the stage and the inspiration struck immediately. Other inspirations include Nils Frahm, h hunt, Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel. A new aaronk album is slated for release in early 2023. Aaron is based in Portland, OR and fronts the electro pop band New Body Electric as co-writer and producer.
