Rev Theory, originally formed as Revelation Theory in 2002, has built a reputation for high-energy rock anthems and major media placements. Their five albums—Truth Is Currency (2005), Light It Up (2008), Justice (2011), The Revelation (2016), and Salvation Nowhere (2024)—have been featured in sports, entertainment, and gaming. Their breakout came with Light It Up (2008), featuring “Hell Yeah,” the theme for WWE One Night Stand, Madden NFL 09, and Blue Mountain State. The title track was chosen for WrestleMania XXIV, and frontman Rich Luzzi recorded “Voices,” Randy Orton’s legendary WWE entrance theme. With Justice (2011), the band hit #75 on the Billboard 200, with the title track used for WWE Extreme Rules and “Hangman” for WWE SmackDown. They toured with Avenged Sevenfold, Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch, and more. Following The Revelation (2016), bassist Matty McCloskey took over vocals. In 2023, founding member Julien Jorgensen re-recorded “Voices,” surpassing 1M streams in a month. This led to Salvation Nowhere (2024), their first album in eight years, blending their signature sound with modern production. Under Jorgensen’s leadership, Rev Theory continues evolving, expanding their reach in music, film, and digital media.
