Seth Abstract

I turn poems into songs! Sometimes it is classic poetry like Edgar Allan Poe and sometimes it is poems shared with me by my amazing community. I’m Seth Abstract, a performance artist and digital conductor behind projects like ‘The Living Archive’. I turn poetry and original writing into cinematic songs and visual stories. I create in all music genres so that the poetry is always reflected in the best way but it is always with a maximalist and creative angle. To go with the songs I also develop unique characters, direct and edit socials videos, and create these worlds on screen. Projects like ‘The Ballad of Davina Larose’ began with a poem shared by someone in this community and grew into an entire gothic country world. My goal is to make poetry feel alive for a modern audience, not something that is trapped in school. This channel is for anyone who loves dark art, haunting music, classic literature, poetry adaptations, cinematic music videos, or seeing how a poem becomes a song.
