Hi there ✨ I’m Rebecca Hammond, a Minneapolis girl just making music. I can remember singing and writing as young as six years old, and I have vivid memories of writing songs in a journal I kept, which was full of breakup songs and lots of drama. I studied music at North Central University, where I graduated as the honorary music student of 2018. I’m currently based in Minneapolis and I’ve fallen in love with this city’s vibrancy, diversity, and art + music scene. In December of 2018 I released my debut project, If You Were Mine, and in August 2020 I released my first single, Nights Like This. My latest single release, HUNG UP, reflects on the tension and temptation of falling back and forth in a toxic relationship. The cycle ends when I finally realize who this person is and how bad they are for me. This is my Christmas gift to you - hope you love it just as much as I enjoyed creating it ✨ xo beccs
