Batzombie is a self-taught artist from Borneo Island (Sabah, Malaysia). He creates music straight from his bedroom; raw, emotional, and deeply honest. With no formal training or access to fancy equipment, he began his journey using GarageBand on an old iPhone with standard earphones, recording whatever he felt in the moment. Through trial & error and quiet determination, he taught himself everything he knows. A naturally introverted and socially awkward soul, music became the only way he could truly express himself. It was never about fame, it was about survival. Each song he makes is a reflection of his inner world; a safe space for vulnerability, pain and healing. His sound is influenced by real experiences, dreams, movies and the quiet moments most people overlook; all of which gave him the courage to be soft in a loud world. The name Batzombie came from a random band name generator; a mix of Batman and The Walking Dead. But over time it became something deeper. A symbol of a dead heart rising again as vengeance through song. Every lyric he writes carries a piece of that resurrection, the feeling of something broken coming back to life, not with anger, but with purpose. He doesn’t have a big team or a major label, just a laptop, a bedroom and a desire to be heard. If one person feels seen because of his music, then it’s all been worth it.
