Papa Jay

Papa Jay is a recording artist and songwriter born and raised in Fano, Italy, with Scottish and Nubian Egyptian roots. He is based in Edinburgh, UK. He has recently become a BA Music Business graduate and launched his own artist management, development and services company 'Endfinity Mgmt'. The best way to describe him as an artist is that he knows exactly what he wants to say. He transparently expresses his feelings through the music, by writing his truth and being authentic. He can be introspective and personal, but also very dynamic and lively, which conveys balance and artistic versatility. The music is sonically inspired by American hip-hop but produced in Scotland. Amongst his biggest musical influences are artists such as 50 Cent, Eminem, Drake, Ye, Lil Wanye & Jay-Z. Having such a mixed background, Papa Jay believes he does not really belong anywhere in particular, he simply sees himself as being a man of the world, and more specifically, as an artist who can cross-over and connect with all types of cultures through his sound, lyrics and memorable hooks. All his music has been independently distributed by his own record label 'Rtm Records UK'. The label has also worked on a single release with Danny Cliff in 2022, titled 'For You'.
