Sxph (pronounced Saph) is a rapper, producer, and an all-rounder creative from Kuala Lumpur, blending Bahasa Malaysia and English into a cinematic, emotional sound rooted in Malaysian hip-hop. Starting in the early 2000s with SSK, one of the country’s pioneering Malay rap groups, Sxph has been active since 2008—crafting music that speaks on identity, emotion, and evolution. His style moves fluidly across rap, R&B, experimental and cinematic pop, always guided by thought-provoking lyrics and bold production. As a self-produced artist, he’s worked with names like Faizal Tahir, Altimet, Noh Salleh, Forceparkbois, Dinho, and Imran Ajmain, while producing tracks for regional artists and commercial campaigns across Southeast Asia. His 2023 project Nisbah Sinematik Resolusi Penuh pushed his sound into deeper, more visual territory. In 2024, SEMOGA JUMPA CAHAYA explored spirituality and vulnerability with guests like Tish Errda and Imran Ajmain. Now in 2025, Sxph returns with ATLANTIS68 — a bilingual concept album inspired by the lost city of Atlantis, symbolizing forgotten worlds, untapped greatness, and the rediscovery of self.
