bødyWash.

BødyWash is a nu metal and alternative metal band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed by Jacob Horenburg on vocals, David Abbott on drums, Nick Conroy on guitar, and Luke Shoemaker on bass. The band exists to make heavy music feel massive again. BødyWash writes songs built around pressure, self-examination, and the process of pulling yourself back together. The music is aggressive, melodic, and emotionally exposed, with a focus on weight, atmosphere, and hooks that stay with people. Every part of the band’s sound is designed to feel immediate, from the guitars and drums to the vocals and visual identity. That clarity has translated into rapid growth across streaming and social platforms. Through performance-driven content and a strong connection with new listeners, BødyWash has built momentum without relying on nostalgia or imitation. The band is part of a wider return to heavy music, but its focus is on where the genre can go next. BødyWash is represented by WME for booking and managed by The Artery Foundation. The long-term goal is simple: build a modern heavy band with cultural reach. BødyWash is making music for people carrying tension they do not know how to name, and for anyone trying to turn pain, anger, and isolation into something they can survive.
