Dorian Whisper

Dorian Whisper, a versatile songwriter from the Netherlands, primarily composes his songs on guitar, weaving lyrics that draw inspiration from cherished memories to striking political events or just spread positivity. His rock and pop compositions seamlessly blend a variety of musical styles and influences, such as Phil Collins, Santana, Steely Dan, Sting, Van Morrison and classic bands like Pink Floyd and Genesis. Dorian Whisper also released several cover songs of famous artists (including some of the above) giving them his distinctive sound with acoustic and electric guitars and unique vocal harmonies. Despite having decades of musical experience, Dorian Whisper debuted with his EP ‘As Long as You Want’ in March 2020. This EP was followed by several successful singles, including ‘Brand New Day' and ‘Fate Cut Another Ribbon’, the latter of which honors the late rock drummer Taylor Hawkins of the Foo-Fighters. The song/video 'Back In Town' describes the chaos caused by the current US administration with a wink to Frank Zappa.
