The duo CHESTER PAGE was born from the collaboration of musician friends and DJ producers, Stéphane and Yann, from Lille. Stéphane, a singer and guitarist, has ghost-produced for numerous electro artists over the past 20 years. In the 90s, he led the pop-new-wave band Death Nature, performing in France and Belgium, and opening for Alphaville. Yann, a DJ-producer, was the resident DJ for 7 years at Complexe Cap’tain in Belgium, one of Europe’s largest clubs. He also produced various artists and was the program director of Contact FM, a leading French electro radio station. Their musical influences range from pop artists like New Order, Depeche Mode, and David Bowie, to electro artists like Moby, KLF, and Royksopp. Chester Page's style evolves between pop and electro, featuring an enchanting pop voice and guitars. In 2015, after remixing for artists like Kyo and Brooke Fraser, they covered Tanita Tikaram's "Twist in My Sobriety," a track that marked the duo in the 80s. Positive feedback led to radio broadcasts in France and a Warner license in Russia, where it became the 12th most played song in 2016. Their first EP "A Picture of You," with five original tracks, was released shortly after, amassing over 2 million streams, including 1.5 million on Spotify without promotion. Today, Stéphane and Yann focus on ghost-producing for various artists, while Chester Page remains their side project, allowing them to thrive in the musical worlds that have always influenced them.
