When Mavie Monroe decided to upload her first song to YouTube in January 2026, at first nothing happened. She was not surprised. Then a short clip of the song she had posted on TikTok went viral. Within days, her song Crazy Day received close to 3 million views on YouTube and millions more on TikTok and Spotify. A party version of Crazy Day followed in May 2026. On August 4, 2026 Mavie Monroe’s debut single Crazy Day entered the Billboard Dance Radio Airplay chart at #24 - the highest entry ever by an independent artist. It went on to become the hit anthem of the summer, taking #1 on the Mediabase US Pop Radio most added songs chart on September 15, 2026 Mavie Monroe had been singing and writing songs since she was a child, but writing and recording Crazy Day was special to her. She felt she was ready to let others hear her music. Being based in Los Angeles helped, as she quickly found like-minded artists encouraging her to put her first video together.
