Dr. Priyadarshini is a Singaporean-Indian Playback Singer in the Indian Film & Music industry. She is a multilingual singer who has captured the hearts of many listeners with her sweet voice in more than 180 blockbuster hit movies, innumerable albums & songs.Priyadarshini created a history in Indian Cinema becoming the first playback singer to receive a Doctorate for her Ph.D research in 100 years of Film Music with her thesis spanning over 1000 pages. Priyadarshini has worked with many Legendary & renowned Music Directors. Her versatility extends to private albums, jingles, television serials title songs, corporate brand anthems, non-filmy, devotionals, and web series titles in more than 16 Indian and foreign languages. Beyond her singing career, Priyadarshini is a music researcher and writer, having published several articles and papers. Additionally, she has showcased her acting skills in on-screen appearances in movies, short films, and independent albums. She is a recipient of numerous awards, honours, accolades and appreciations.
