Jackie Hayes keeps things moving forward. Her first musical experiences happened in a church worship band. There’s an irony to the divinity, considering Hayes was kicked out of the worship band for being a nonbeliever. Detaching herself from her family’s religious fervor, Hayes left home at 18, immersing herself in Chicago’s new wave of musical artistry. The move proved fruitful: she’s established herself as a rising star within the indie rock world and has built an impressive catalog spanning multiple singles, 2 EPs, and a debut album, garnering tastemaker support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Jack Saunders, BBC, NME, Clash, The Fader, Alternative Press, and i-D, to name a few. Her spirited & exhilarating live show has seen her headline renowned stages including Elsewhere (NY), The Moroccan Lounge (LA), Lollapalooza Chicago, and support slots for KennyHoopla, Claud, The Japanese House, and The Regrettes.
