Many know Katya Diaz for her run as both dancer and assistant choreographer for superstar Beyoncé, others will recognize her as one of the background singers in Snarky Puppy’s Grammy winning Family Dinner (“Something”, Layla Hathaway). Chris Hierro’s production is known for pushing the Latin genre forward with his fresh take on traditional styles. His stage and production and songwriting credits include Leslie Grace, Sebastian Yatra, Tini, Alejandro Sanz, Milly Quezada, Carlos Vives and Greeicy. Chris and Katya met while both were accompanying Alejandro Sanz on his 2012 tour (La Música No Se Toca). Their chemistry was undeniable, leading to the formation of the duo which went on to collaborate with notable Latin artists like Debi Nova, Andrea Echavarría (Aterciopelados), Andres Levin, Ceci Bastida, hit writer Claudia Brant (“El Muro”) and Latin Grammy winning producer/DJ Cruz (“Por Ti Vendré”) among others. Their work can be heard on the soundtrack of the Netflix original series “It’s Bruno” and on Trinidad’s beloved Kes the band’s latin/soca fusion turned carnival hit “Body Talk”. They lent their voices to the hit “Lejos de Ti”, serving as the backdrop to the climactic scene of the 2018 remake of the classic Hollywood film: “Overboard” (Eugenio Derbez, Anna Faris). They have consistently been releasing original music since 2016 in both Spanish and English.
