The Stairwell Carollers, an a cappella choir, sing sacred and secular choral music from the Medieval period and the Renaissance era, as well as settings of traditional and contemporary Christmas carols. They are based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The Stairwell Carollers director, Pierre Massie is a published composer and arranger. His original works can be found on all the Caroller's Christmas recordings. Pierre's compositions and arrangements have long been a part of our Dominion Carillonneur, Andrea McCrady's Carillon repertoire. Every year, entire Peace Tower Carillon concerts are devoted to her performance of his works. The Peace Tower stands overlooking Ottawa in the centre block of Parliament Hill. Winners of the Ontario Music Festival Association provincial competition, the Stairwell Carollers charity, has given over $143,800 in scholarships and donations to local charities.
