Banners Raised started 2016, in Corvallis, Oregon. Fueled by Redbull, a set of songs were written with one goal in mind: bring a blend of different genres to the table. No Genre. No Drama. Throughout 2017 the band focused on frequently writing and recording songs, while playing shows. With a comprehensive mix of post-hardcore, metalcore, melodic hardcore, progressive metal, and pop elements, the band shared the stage with a list of varying artists. After a long hiatus, the band came back with a vengeance with what was some of their heaviest music, “Unnatural Violence.” This sonic gut punch of an EP was an example in their quest for "No Genre, No Drama." They have now just unveiled their newest expression of their motto with "Manifest Dread," an 6 track EP inspired by the old school myspace deathcore sound. The songs are brutal. loud, fast, and straight pissed.
