Mélys

Melodies of mirages; music of the body and of castaways. After her first EP, 'Agua', which was organic and acoustic, Mélys 'For Once's' second EP was released on 26 April, coloured by indie-folk, with occasional hints of rock. Navigating between English and Spanish, her soft, husky voice takes us to those precious moments when the mind wanders and is carried away by melancholy. Mélys describes her music as Floral Folk, a musical setting in which the singer-guitarist-composer Mélys draws her lyrics from the emotions and sensations that the organic world makes her feel.
