Esubalew Yitayew better known as Esubalew Yitayew (Yeshi) is an Ethiopian singer and song writer . Esubalew was born in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, on 21 Dec 1992, to Yeshi Faris and Yitayew Mihrete. He is critically acclaimed to be one of the most promising and influential singers and song writer in Ethiopian youth music industry. His outgoing personality and loyalty to his work are , to say the least, some of his liked behaviours by his colleagues. Growing up, he discovered his passion in music in 5th grade. While he was in elementary school, Dejazemachi Umer Semeter,many people used to encourage and tell him that he would become a singer one day. His in- class singing gradually grew beyond school to Kidus Francesco’s , Adams city youth association , Chadet children and youth theatre, Addis ketema youth assiciation , 1988 ethiopian idol, teferi meknoen and many others. His first single “Ethiopia” and then “hello beyign” and“hoyaye” respectively are the three musics that introduced him to the people. But the one that earned him fame, respect and admiration from the people is his fourth single called “mare mare” which was later included in his 13 tracked album named Tirtaye”. “Mare Mare” took him to different places in Ethiopia and abroad andintroduced him to his fans. His first album “Tirtaye” was released in 2018 and made him reach the pick of popularity and established the young artist as one of the most prominent singers and in Ethiopian music industry.
