Ignited

Ignited was forged in 2017 with a clear mission: deliver powerful, high-energy heavy metal with no compromises. Their debut album, Steelbound (2019), marked their entrance onto the scene, followed by a live release in 2022 capturing the intensity of their first-ever concert. Later that year, the band entered Studio Fredman with producer Fredrik Nordström to shape their second full-length. The result, Cradle of the Wicked (2023), showcased a sharper, heavier sound and received recognition from magazines such as Sweden Rock Magazine and Rock Hard. Originally formed in southern Brazil and now based in Stockholm, Ignited has continued to evolve with a renewed lineup. 2024 marked a turning point with the addition of Andreas Herlogsson on drums and Niklas Bankemo on bass, followed by the arrival of Erik Forsberg as lead vocalist in April 2025. The new era was officially ignited on stage in October 2025, with their first live performance in Stockholm. In April 2026, the lineup was updated with the addition of bassist Mattias Lekborn (ex-Furiam, ex-My Dark Rift) as work continues on live shows and a new EP. Ignited moves forward on Swedish soil, united and ready for what’s next!
