Felix Flavour is a music producer from Munich, Germany, with nearly three decades of experience. After starting out with techno as a kid, he spent his teenage years making hip-hop beats for local rappers, and today works exclusively in Amapiano. Most of his music is made in close collaboration with South African artists, in sessions between Munich and Johannesburg. Felix treats Amapiano as a living musical language, best learned from the people who built it. His ongoing project, The Amapiano Alphabet, is a 26-track series: one track for every letter. Some are instrumental, others feature vocals, and together they move through every shade of Amapiano, from soulful to experimental. Felix is writing his own chapter in the genre. One letter at a time.
