Andy Franco

Hip-Hop Phenom Andy Franco, born in 1995 and hailing from Virginia Beach, unveils a powerful message of presence over perfection. Confidence over clout. Andy creates melodic, late-night soundscapes for those moments when you're rebuilding yourself but still want to party. Shaped by a military upbringing that spanned Japan to California, Andy surprised his Lemoore middle school talent show with an unexpected rap performance at age 13 in 2009, before bidding farewell for Sacramento that summer. Andy's genuine passion for Hip-Hop ignited in 2014 during university, sparked by Daniel Radcliffe's Alphabet Aerobics performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon along with Eminem's Rap God. Originally blending stand-up comedy with rap, Andy found solace in rhymes and poetry, baring himself and empowering others. Quiet kid no more. Driven to honor the music that saved him, Andy honed his craft, filling notepads with verses and performing in class. Starting 2015, Andy released his first tracks and officially debuted on YouTube as &y in 2017. Inspired early on by Logic, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, and Kanye West, Andy thrived. In 2018, while earning a teaching degree in Los Angeles, Andy crafted his debut mixtape, Boy with a Dream, released in 2021, paying homage to K.I.D.S. by Mac Miller. Andy focused on building output on YouTube, marking his Spotify debut in 2023. Andy also produces high-energy beats as Filthy Franco and kicks freestyles and mixtapes as Andy Fresh.
