Raffaele Scoccia

Hi my name is Raffaele, I am an Italian composer, pianist, and producer who has called New York home for many years. My passion for music emerged naturally at the age of eight, when I was drawn to musical instrument toys rather than the typical playthings of my childhood. At fourteen, I was finally able to acquire a real piano, which I placed in a waterfront room where I began composing my first melodies. From the beginning, I was captivated by the power of music to evoke emotions. I believe that while musical genres may vary widely, the essence and emotional strength they convey are universal and unchanging. Throughout the years, I have explored a range of genres and collaborated with numerous international artists in the process of producing music. Now, I return to my roots—the piano as the focal point and melodies as a pure reflection of the deeper, sometimes hidden, parts of my "ego". Whether inspired by a fleeting glimpse of nature, an event, or simply observing the world around us, these experiences spark emotions and reflections. When translated into musical notes, they have the power to make us dream, meditate, and rediscover that fleeting sense of peace and beauty that comforts and reassures us. With this in mind, I am always open to hearing your thoughts and feedback as I continue on this journey.
