Fresh X Reckless

The New Orleans 2 man Supergroup Fresh X Reckless are on a mission to bring their blend of HipHop, R&B, & Bounce rap to the world stage. Comprised of 21-year-old David “Deelö” Rayford 22-year-old Jamel “Mel” Joseph.Fresh X Reckless all hail from New Orleans. Growing up crumbled post Katrina environment motivated them to aspire for more.  Each member of The Fresh X Reckless brings a little something different to the Table. They have plenty in common, including musical roots Deelo can’t remember a time when he didn’t dream of stardom and has been singing and dancing in talent shows since he was little, often winning the top prize for his rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”. In 2015, Deelö barber introduced him to their current General Manager, New Orleans producer Zül-Qarnaįn, who formed a bond with the group and named them after mentoring David in life and the music business. Jamel aka Mel acquired a love for money and business watching his parents deal in real estate and open other businesses. Junya grew up heavy in the church and also sung in the choir. He decided to branch off into secular music to make a money and an influential name for himself. Jamel who came up on the Westside of New Orleans aka the “Westbank”. Very popular in school for dressing flashy, joking around and being pranksters they established a clique of peers called the Famous Teens.
