Chi Town Taurus Music

Chi Town Taurus is a Chicago-raised, system-tested artist and Chief Thug Therapist of C.R.I.M.E. C.O.D.E. Records, carving out his own lane called Penitentiary Hip Hop – music coded for elevation, survival, ownership, and real-life accountability. He first emerged with THE Don Ize SHOW Skit Tapes from the Evooize De Medici collection. When songs from those tapes started appearing alongside Chicago mixtapes featuring OTF, Taurus shifted fully into music as a business, teaming with Great Lakes producer Godxilla for his debut studio album Prison Art, a 15-song docu-album centered on incarceration and prison life in the U.S. The lead single “On The Deck” did over 1.3 million views on Facebook, was inducted into the 2020 London Music Video Festival, and proved there was a global lane for his sound. Taurus followed with Life Of A Gangster PTSD, expanding a universe that now includes Gun Line PTSD and Block Bois R Us. In the Crime Code Records world, PTSD is our code, not a diagnosis: Progress • Triumph • Success • Dedication Prosperity • Tenacity • Synergy • Devotion On this channel you’ll find Chi Town Taurus’ catalog, the Block Bois R Us movement, visuals like “On The Deck” and “Whistling (That Block Bois R Us),” plus performance clips and story-driven content for Hip Hop purists, rap aficionados, and everyday listeners who want intelligent, street-rooted music.
