Takar Nabam

Singer, Songwriter and Virtuoso Guitarist Takar Nabam is a vibrant creator of songs that can capture a listener in several ways, be it nostalgic hooks, vivid storytelling, or bold and forward-thinking musical vision. Nominated as one of India’s “Top 5 Guitar Players” by The Indies India in 2021, he utilises his firm command of both voice and instrument to convey deeply personal narratives of introspection. Takar developed his signature sound in the fertile independent music scene of New Delhi, India, incorporating multiple aspects of the sounds and culture he was exposed to. The spirit of western rock lit the fire early, while later immersion in Jazz, RnB, Soul, World music, and the art of songwriting led him to establish a wider palette of colours and techniques for expression.
