Mahesh Nish started off his music carrier as a young boy who was so passionate about music. He wrote his own songs and composed them as a hobby. In 2009 he released his first song “Sihinekin”. In 2011 his first song opened up an opportunity for him to be staged with many young musicians in Bangalore, India. The cultural show was a collaboration space for young musicians of around 10 countries coming together and presenting their work. His new song was released recently titled as “Hirimalwayasayata” a collaboration with Sri Lankan Senior female singer Ashanthi de Alwis. Mahesh Nish is the only Sri Lankan singer who signed with record label Universal Music Group in New York. His love for music never disturbed his education. He graduated with a bachelors in computer science from the Angilia RushkinUniversity Cambridge, UK . Then he completed his Masters of computer science from The City University in New York. Currently he works as a Software Engineer for a leading financial institute in Washington DC, USA.
