Lavallette

Lavallette is an electro-pop duo featuring heavy synth sections, soaring vocals, and beats typically heard in disco, old-school rap, and pop music. We’ve been described as the “sound of sun-soaked summers and times long lost.” And “vocal synth pop with modern sensibilities.” We like to take influences and techniques from the 80s and 90s and freshen them up for a new era and a new audience. We use digital recreations of some of the most famous synths and drum machines which are just so amazing in their own right. The tones and textures we get out of them really add to that nostalgic vibe that we’re after. Pair that with Sophia’s talent, range, and powerful voice and you have something truly exciting. We released our debut record in August of last year which we are incredibly proud of. We keep things pretty retro and are completely DIY so finding a way to release it on vinyl and cassette was a challenge but also extremely rewarding. It’s called American Summer and you can find it on all streaming services as well as on Bandcamp where we have our records and cassettes. Of course, we couldn’t do any of this without the support and dedication of our friends, families, and fans that have been with us since the beginning. We so appreciate their support.
