Shaun Gibson

Shaun Gibson, or 肖恩 as he’s known in China, is a legally blind British music artist, songwriter, and producer telling stories about finding a home between cultures. Despite his visual impairment, Shaun chooses to squeeze the juice out of life. He believes that disabilities shouldn’t define who we are or limit our dreams. He encourages everyone to become their own hero and not let the world define who they are. He first discovered Chinese culture through friends at Liverpool University, and fell in love with traditional Chinese instruments. For the past five years, he’s been based in China, travelling far and wide discovering new sounds. His debut single “Journey” introduced his signature Chinese infused sound combined with an Avicii style beat. His East meets West debut album of the same name features songs telling stories from his road of discovery and wonderment. The adventure continues in 2026 with new music, but this time the journey is more internal in nature. It’s one he is sure many people will relate to. Watch this space.
