Formed in 2014 by Kriistal Ann and Toxic Razor, Paradox Obscur is an electronic music duo celebrated for their authentic, analog-driven sound. Eschewing computers and digital plugins, they create all of their music in real time using hardware synthesizers & drum machines, delivering a raw and immersive listening experience. While rooted in the spirit of 80s underground music, their unique blend of haunting melodies, driving rhythms, and cinematic atmosphere appeals to a wide range of listeners, regardless of genre preference. Not confined to the mainstream, Paradox Obscur’s music transcends commercial boundaries, offering something for both devoted electronic fans and casual listeners alike. With performances at major international festivals and their work featured in films like That Kind of Summer (Berlin International Film Festival 2022), Paradox Obscur continues to expand its reach, crafting timeless music that resonates with anyone who appreciates genuine, boundary-pushing art.
