Our Oceans

Forged from the depths of melancholy and imbued with transcendent emotional gravity, Our Oceans is a power trio from the Netherlands. Led by singer and guitarist Tymon Kruidenier, the band is rounded out by his former Exivious bandmates—bassist Robin Zielhorst and drummer Yuma van Eekelen. Blending singer-songwriter sensibilities with modern progressive rock elements, Our Oceans' music resonates with listeners who seek a soul-stirring experience, offering both catharsis and hope. On their new release, Right Here, Right Now, Our Oceans unveil a brighter, more exhilarating sonic landscape while maintaining the evocative emotional depth that has become their hallmark. Inspired by the “bright quality of the now,” the band crafts a richly layered musical journey filled with lush harmonies and uplifting atmospheres. The album captures the vibrancy of the present moment, blending intricate musicianship with an infectious sense of optimism. Right Here, Right Now will be out soon on Long Branch Records. The band's discography includes their 2015 self-released debut album, a crowdfunding success lauded by critics for “effortlessly transcending genres” and hailed as “a beautiful and unique contribution.” Their 2020 sophomore effort, While Time Disappears, released through the prominent German label Long Branch Records, further solidified the band's reputation, with reviewers praising Kruidenier’s “spectacular high notes” and “visceral imagery.”
