Jesse Brown

Lovingly described as having in his possession a ‘bottomless-Mary-Poppins-carpet-bag of beautiful piano compositions’ by singer-songwriter friends Jay & Jo, Jesse Brown brings the world kindness, tranquility, and a bit of fun through his growing library of piano recordings. A part-time single father and highly-sought-after piano teacher in his home-based Canadian studio, Jesse loves nothing more than to play his piano for your enjoyment. His creative fire is fuelled by the many souls that he comes across in his every day life. Whether he is tackling injustices abroad with Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Ian Urbina with the Outlaw Ocean Music Project, or sending love notes across the street to his favourite nurse, Jesse’s weapon of choice in the battle for wellness is his 110-year-old felted upright piano that he picked up for $160 after his almost 20 year long marriage came to its end. This same vintage piano has since taken Jesse Brown’s improvisations and collaborations to the world’s biggest virtual stages, including Spotify’s massive Peaceful Piano. In 2021, Jesse Brown signed with Musicbed in the US for sync licensing opportunities.
