Percussionist and educator, living in Connecticut. I work with several local symphony orchestras and have freelanced in Connecticut and surrounding areas for well over thirty years. I have taught previously at Ithaca College, Northern Illinois University, and Elgin Community College, and currently I teach percussion at Keene State College. I also teach percussion, piano, and jazz studies at the Music Learning Center in Danbury, CT. I have written articles for "Percussive Notes" (the official publication of the Percussive Arts Society), and from 1999-2001 I authored the "Expressive Jazz Techniques" column in Jazz Player Magazine. I have presented clinics at Kent State University, Western Connecticut State University, the Hartt School of Music, as well as "Day of Percussion" events in for the Connecticut and New Hampshire PAS chapters, and the 2023 New England Band Directors Institute.
