Sealskin

Originally from Russia with Armenian and Siberian roots, Margarita Pozharova, artistically known as Sealskin, is a singer, song - writer, producer and composer of her music. Since early age she felt a strong longing for singing and authentic self-expression, so she started experimenting with electronic sound design and singing in her native city, Samara, Russia, with her first band Sargasmia, and was often described as a shamanic trance inducing performer. Later in 2015 she moves to Bracelona to study music `production and starts her solo project under the name Sealskin, inspired in a story from Clarissa Ester´s book ´Women running with wolves´. In the last 8 years of her carrier as singer and music producer she explores a lot and plays with different genre fusions, creating her own style, and releases over 50 compositions. In 2022 Sealskin co-produces as author and singer together with Charly Chicago (Estartit) a new cinematographic project of shamanic spiritual electronic music called Canto del Dragon. She collaborates with folk world musicians in search of expressing a true soulful sound of her roots (Hovhannes Karakhanyan, Faris Ishaq) Through time she develops a unique ethnic, organic sound, and creates a series of courses & own method - vocal sound healing ¨Voice your Place of Power, Healing Voice¨. Currently she is co-creating music and live performances with her life partner Javier, Zitrovison, preparing two upcoming albums infused with new life adventures.
