Back in 2005, Santi & David Lluch, founding members of the legendary Hellbilly Club, began experimenting with a second-hand Roland mixing console borrowed from their friend Toni Meler — the sound engineer behind Hellbilly Club’s second album, “Hell-o”. What started as late-night sessions recording songs they loved soon evolved into something bigger. After laying down a few raw demos, they felt the spark — an unmistakable pull to keep going. By 2006, they had enough material for their first album. They started out as a Rockabilly and classic Rock & Roll outfit, fueled by blues-drenched riffs, dusty country echoes & ghosts of forgotten ‘60s instrumentals. But somewhere along the road, under neon lights & sleepless nights, the sound began to shift. Year after year, the band drifted into rougher territory, landing between punk, garage rock, glam & post-punk chaos. In 2025, Marc Illas stepped behind the drums — the same beatkeeper from Hellbilly Club’s first two albums — bringing the raw energy Atomic Leopards needed for their new material. With over 25 years on the road, the Lluch brothers have earned a reputation as seasoned, road-tested musicians. Along the way, they’ve shared stages or crossed paths with acts such as Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Los Rebeldes, The Jungle Tigers, Matchbox, The Polecats, The Quakes, etc. They’ve racked up countless live shows, interviews & releases. A long-running engine of raw Rock & Roll energy — still kicking, still loud, & still on the road.
