Game soundtracks taught me everything I know about music. Ever since Sonic 1 on the Master System (Bridge theme, man) I've wanted to do something to celebrate their amazing melodies and unique artistry - dream is to compose for games & movies, and I've been making music on the side for a good 15-16 years. I've just launched a brand new channel for my orchestral game arrangements and original compositions - it's called James Laurence; check it out! My LjB0 channel is now going to focus on medieval style covers from the gaming world (to keep the algorithmic gods happy). I made what could be the original 'Bardcore' cover back in 2017 with my 'Halo Theme (Ye Olde Medieval Version)' video, which went viral out of nowhere 2 years later. Since then I've released more medieval tracks alongside other styles inspired by Bladerunner, Stranger Things, Glen Miller, John Williams & Studio Ghibli. Top 5 game soundtracks (probably): Grandia, FFVII, Sonic 3, Ace Attorney, Zelda: Link's Awakening. Make sure to check out insaneintherainmusic, Sam Griffin Guitar, Bulby & Daichi Beatboxer too - big inspirations!
