Liam Phan

Born in Switzerland, Liam Phan is a composer, pianist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer whose work moves between classical, neoclassical, jazz, and electronic territories. Rooted in film and advertising, he seeks the borderland where organic matter meets digital architecture, fusing field recordings and modular synthesis with the tactile weight of analog gear. Drawn to minimalism not only in melody but in the very grain of recorded sound, he strips music to its essential contours, letting space and silence breathe. From his Geneva studio to distant travels collecting rare instruments and unrepeatable noises, Liam sculpts fragile themes into immersive landscapes—at once intimate, cinematic, and timeless.
