Telltale

Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Telltale is a dynamic quartet— composed of John Carteret (vocals), Bryce Marshall (guitar), Tim Fogg (bass), and Travis Slack (drums)— known for their emotive lyrics, infectious melodies, and an unwavering commitment to sharing the stories that shape their lives. As Telltale continues to evolve and explore new musical horizons, they remain committed to their mission of storytelling through their sound. This is evident in their self-titled full-length debut on Rude Records. Telltale, while it may stray from what listeners expect from the band, is most sonically indicative to who they have grown to be as musicians but most importantly, as people. With stand out singles such as “Otherside”, “Cardinals”, and “EDDY” Telltale pushes the boundaries of modern day alt rock and emo. Produced by Alan Day (of Four Year Strong) and mastered by Will Putney, the record is full of emotionally charged anthems and bittersweet melodies that perfectly describe how it feels to navigate through the hardships and heartbreaks life brings. From chasing nostalgia to accepting fate, this self-titled record is a cohesive and relatable story from start to finish. Through their music, Telltale invites you to join them on a journey through the highs and lows of life, where every song is a page turned in the book of their collective experiences.
