London-based, Australian-born artist Beks has built a reputation for blending sharp songwriting with theatrical live shows, from drag dancers and choreography to punk guitar–swinging club appearances. Her debut EP Hard Gloss, produced by PALMR and mixed by Tim Rowkins (Lady Gaga, Rina Sawayama), put her on billboards in London and Poland and launched a sold-out European headline tour. Her new single “A Love Like This”, produced by John Castle (Vance Joy’s Riptide), is a powerful follow-up that pivots from club-pop into alt-rock. Written more than a decade ago and long cherished as her father’s favourite track, its release reveals a more vulnerable side of her artistry and carries a universal message of love, loss, and healing. Beks’ journey spans fronting the indie-rock band RACKETT, collaborations as Bec and Ben, and a solo career supporting Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Madelline, Princess Superstar, and Girli. She has performed at Mighty Hoopla, Sydney Mardi Gras, Amsterdam Pride, Nottingham Pride, Brisbane Pride, MELT Festival, and on club stages including Heaven, Eagle, E1, and the W Hotel, with features in Rolling Stone, Notion, FAULT Magazine, and Sunrise Channel 7
