K.Flay (Kristine Meredith Flaherty) is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer whose music moves fluidly between grunge, alt-rock, and hip-hop-rooted songwriting. Her 2017 breakout album, Every Where Is Some Where, and its single "Blood in the Cut," earned two Grammy nominations and established her as one of alt-rock's most distinctive voices. In 2022, K.Flay was diagnosed with sudden sensorineural hearing loss, ultimately losing all hearing in her right ear. That experience shaped 2023's MONO, an album that helped her process the loss in real time.
