Sagar is the artist who writes about the things people feel constantly and say out loud rarely. A Delhi and Mumbai based singer-songwriter and self-described one-man boy band, he has written over 700 songs and released 26 - a catalogue built on intricate guitar work, rooted lyricism, and a refusal to flinch from the difficult parts. He made his Netflix debut on the Mismatched Season 3 soundtrack with Khaamiyan and Pyaar Hai, both of which charted on Spotify's Viral India. He has since been a cover artist on Naya Indiestan, opened for Anuv Jain on his national tour, and headlined Tinder's Queer Made Weekend. Around the music is The Daisies - a community of 12,000 people who found something of themselves in it. His debut solo EP, Aakhri Tohfa, arrives 19 November. Four songs told in order: betrayal, anger, the grey where love survives it anyway, and the quiet that comes after. A reflection of everything this year has meant to him. "I've never felt so naked while writing what I've written this year."
