Trey Libra

Greetings my name is Tredale McCullough but my stage & entertainment name is Trey Libra. I used to go by Jacob Izrael. I changed my name back in 2012. The content under the name Jacob Izrael I felt was a bit too religious and preachy. I thought why not use the prefix of my birth name Tredale, Tre and just add the “y” cause why not. I couldn’t stop there so I added the Libra, my zodiac sign. Yes, I’m a true Libra, I was born under the late September moon. For all that know, the zodiac sign for Libra means a pair of scales (in Latin). The Libra scale represents Balance & Harmony, which I feel is my life’s story. My music contains all types of substance, from picking on myself for being a (BROKE A$$ RAPPER), being (TOO OLD) to rap, being sarcastic by picking on violent artist, or healing while trying to heal the world of mayhem and destruction with spiritual and kind words (FINGERPRINT). I was born and raised in St.Petersburg, Florida (just west of Tampa). My come up was very similar to a lot of other inner city kids. My parents were too busy doing their own thing (drugs), so I was raised by my grandmother. My grandmother was tough on me, too tough. I was often belittled, verbally assaulted, and sometimes whipped for something as simple as not being able to find matching dress shoes for her to go out and party with her friends. I needed something to occupy my time and get my mind off of the abuse I faced. So I turned to music.
