As an artist from Nepal, I am a singer-songwriter and music producer on a mission to capture, preserve, and reimagine the acoustic soul of my homeland. For me, music is much more than melody, it is a living archive of our heritage. My creative journey often takes me away from the studio and deep into diverse communities on immersive field research trips. There, I track down and record rare, vanishing soundscapes and indigenous folk elements that are slowly fading away. Back in the studio, I blend these ancient, authentic textures with modern production and contemporary soundscapes. Through my work, I want to bridge the gap between yesterday and today, breathing new life into our traditional roots and creating a fresh, modern fusion that honors where I come from while pushing forward.
