Mariko Muranaka is an internationally acclaimed cellist known for her virtuoso performances on both acoustic and electric cello. With over two decades of experience, she bridges genres including classical, film, pop, rock, and metal. She has toured globally as a soloist with Hans Zimmer Live since 2023, and in 2025 joined Andrea Bocelli’s U.S. tour as a featured soloist. Mariko has performed with Madonna (Madame X Tour, Billboard Music Awards), Cirque du Soleil (Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour, Zumanity), Two Steps From Hell, STARSET, and Adele. She was featured in The World of Hans Zimmer: A New Dimension tour across 14 countries, and played to 50,000 people at Wacken Open Air with Two Steps From Hell. Her work also includes the Grammy Award-winning score for Dune: Part Two. Based in the U.S., Mariko continues to captivate global audiences with a unique sound that fuses classical elegance with cinematic and modern edge.
