Fergus James

My new single ' Waking Up With You' is out now! After breaking through with debut single 'Golden Age' – earning Fergus a national support slot on Ed Sheeran’s Divide tour, a Splendour mainstage performance via triple j Unearthed, national support run with Meg Mac, and multiple headline East Coast Australian tours – this new track unveils a deftly bold sound; his earnest songwriting bolstered by a huge pop chorus. Last years’ sophomore EP A Slow Separation was an explosive collection of songs that boasted co-writes with the likes of Bon Iver-collaborator Gordi, Japanese Wallpaper, and Lachie Bostock of Mansionair. Gordi co-write ‘Slow Separation’ was added to Spotify US playlist Fresh & Chill (1.1 million followers) while indie anthem ‘Backseat’ hit the 10th most played song on triple j. A coming-of-age soundtrack for the ages, its singles ‘Trouble’, ‘Saving Grace’ and ‘Fall Short’ were added to a slew of AU, US, UK and Canadian playlists. This followed his acclaimed debut EP All Of The Colours which has accumulated over 15 million streams to date.
