Menace ZM is an African artist who explores their creativity through a blend of alternative R&B and Hip-hop, using music, spoken word, writing, and artistic direction. They're known for their unique and genre-defying approach, where they explore genre bending and find feminine and masculine fluidity in the Hip-hop and R&B spaces. Menace ZM uses their platform to support those on a journey of self-discovery. Their music provides a safe and affirming space for anyone looking to connect with the less palatable parts of themselves. Their musical journey started with the humble beginnings of posting their own music to platforms like SoundCloud and YouTube, using Typebeats as a starting point. However, much of their early work seems to have been taken down from the internet, hinting at a progression and evolution in their style over time. Initially, Menace's music leaned towards a more aggressive and less melodic approach, but as they continued to develop as an artist, they refined their sound to embrace a more melodic direction
