Stefan Benecke is a musician and producer active since the late 1990s. Born and raised in southern Berlin, music has shaped his life from the very beginning. His influences are remarkably broad, drawing from the soulful guitar storytelling of Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits), the atmospheric bends and emotional depth of David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), the road weary blues of Chris Rea, and the innovative electronic soundscapes of Aphex Twin. This eclectic mix led him to chase concerts across genres, from gritty rock shows to underground techno raves, absorbing both guitar energy and pulsating synths. In 1999 he moved to Switzerland, where he has lived ever since on the shores of Lake Zürich. Stefan's music centers on blues rock and guitar driven ballads, defined by warm tube tones, expressive string bends, and deep emotional storytelling.
